Shiftgram Terms of Use
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By downloading or playing Shiftgram, you agree to these terms with Novvot Labs LLC ("Novvot Labs", "we" or "us"). If you don't agree, please don't play. Our Shiftgram Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
You must be at least 13 to play. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to play Shiftgram on devices you own or control, as the app store's rules allow. The game, its pictures, puzzles, art and sounds belong to us or our licensors. Credits for third-party work are in the game's Settings.
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots or exploit bugs to gain an advantage
- change, copy or reverse engineer the game, except where the law lets you
- interfere with our servers or other players' games
- sell or transfer coins, boosters, saves or accounts
- use the game's content commercially
You can share Album pictures through the game's share feature for personal, non-commercial use.
Coins, boosters and purchases
Coins, boosters and lives are a licence to use features of the game. They have no cash value, and you can't exchange them for money or anything outside the game.
- Payment: Apple or Google takes payment and shows you the price, in your local currency, before you buy.
- Coin packs and the Starter pack: these are added to your game straight away and are used up as you spend them.
- Piggy bank: it fills with bonus coins as you win. You can't spend those coins until you pay once to break it, which you can do from 1,500 coins. It holds up to 2,500.
- Remove ads: this is a one-time purchase. Use Restore purchases on iPhone. On Android it comes back by itself.
- Lost progress: coins and items you bought are stored in your game. If you uninstall or lose your phone without signing in, we can't bring them back. Sign in to back them up.
- Refunds: ask Apple or Google, whose refund policies apply. Except where the law requires it, we don't give refunds for items you've bought or used.
- EEA and UK: you agree that we deliver purchases right away, and that you lose your right to withdraw once we do.
- Changes: we may change prices, rewards and game balance from time to time.
Ads
The game shows ads from other companies, and we aren't responsible for what those ads say or what they link to.
- Rewarded videos: you get the reward only once the ad network confirms you've watched the ad. If no ad is available, or you close it early, there's no reward.
- Remove ads: this stops full-screen ads. Rewarded videos stay available if you choose to watch them.
- Starter pack: this stops full-screen ads for 24 hours.
Your save, sign-in and account
Your game is saved on your phone. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional, and it keeps a copy online so you can get your game back on a new phone.
- Two phones: if your phone and your account hold different progress, the game may ask which to keep. The other one is replaced and can't be recovered.
- Your sign-in: you're responsible for keeping your Google or Apple account secure.
- Backups: we try to keep your online copy safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost. Your game backs up only when you're online.
- Deleting your account: go to Settings > Backup and account > Delete account. This removes your sign-in, online copy and League profile for good. The game on your phone stays.
Leagues, events and fair play
Leagues and events are for fun, and their rewards exist only in the game. They have no cash value.
- League results: our server decides points, ranks and rewards, and its results are final unless they're plainly wrong.
- Events: we may change, pause or end Leagues and events, and their rewards, at any time.
- Names and pictures: League names are generated from a fixed word list, and other players in your group can see your name, picture, points, tier and rank.
- Cheating: if we believe you've cheated, we may remove your points or rewards, or remove you from Leagues.
Changes to the game and ending these terms
We update the game over time, and we may change, suspend or stop any part of it, including new levels and online features. Some features need an internet connection, and some may need the latest version.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the game, and you can delete your account first. We may suspend or end your access to online features if you break these terms. The sections on purchases, liability and governing law still apply after that.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we provide the game "as is" and don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress, coins or items. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.
Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit, such as for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we alone are responsible for the game and its content. You must also follow the store's own terms and any third-party terms that apply when you use the game, including your mobile data agreement.
If you got the game from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
If you got the game from the App Store, you and we also agree that:
- Licence: your licence covers Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms allow, including Family Sharing where it applies.
- Support: we alone provide maintenance and support, and Apple has no duty to do so.
- Warranty: if the game fails to meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for the game. Apple has no other warranty duty, to the extent the law allows, and any other claim is our responsibility.
- Claims: we, not Apple, handle claims about the game, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection or privacy law.
- Intellectual property: we, not Apple, handle any third-party claim that the game infringes intellectual property rights.
- Legal compliance: you confirm that you aren't in a country under a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you aren't on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law, changes and contact
The laws of the State of Washington, USA govern these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Snohomish County, Washington. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections and rights to go to court that your local law requires.
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with its new date, and we'll tell you in the game if the change is significant. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new terms. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Questions, complaints and claims go to Novvot Labs LLC, support@novvot.com.
